The Fire Cape is a reward obtained after defeating the boss TzTok-Jad, who is one of the hardest bosses in all of OSRS, with a combat level of 702. If you die at the same time as the final boss or log out before successfully exiting the cave, then the game will recognize it as a failure. The only way to freely roam around the city of Mor Ul Rek is by showing the Fire Cape to the Tzhaar-Ket Guards. The item can also break upon death, so to repair it, you’ll have to speak to Perdu with 50,000 gold coins in your inventory. You can also lose the item at level 20 Wilderness or below, if you haven’t locked it by speaking to Perdu for 500,000 gold coins.
- The Fire Cape is popular because of its forms of melee combat, and the only cape to surpass it is the Infernal Cape.
- You can display in the cape rack or a cape hanger of your room in your POH (Player-Owned House). This shows that you’ve completed the Fight Caves on your account.
- If you don’t want the cape, you can sell it to TzHaar-Mej-Jal for a chance to obtain the Tzrek-Jad pet. But, if you lose it, the only way to obtain it is to complete the Fight Caves objective again.
